Introduction


This reference design uses the AL9M801B-LF-PBF to employ existing home power lines to transmit Ethernet and audio data throughout your home. It allows PCs to access the Internet in any room of your home without Ethernet cabling This product also functions as an Audio Transmitter allowing you to pipe music to any room in your home. The PowerMusicLink is compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet standards, assuring high speed data transfers and low latencies between transmitter and receivers. Audio data is transmitted as pure uncompressed audio also assuring prompt delivery of audio streams.
